Sub contracting as an electrician IS a great way to get some experience in the electrical trade. However - Do you want to be doing it for the rest of your life?
For many electricians the plan is to use being a sub contractor as a stepping stone to gain some experience to start up your own business.
Be your own boss with your own work and not have to travel or ask for a pay rise all the time.
I used to be that person! I was able to quit the subbing world and build my own business, where I had more time, money and freedom.
If I can do it - Anyone can.
Its not easy to just start an electrical business where you are your own boss.
things were don't that were a complete waste of time, with learning the steps to take to get constant work.
