The job numbers are out, and a record number of Americans are working. Tony Katz explains that although the job numbers missed expectations, the economy is going strong. This has been felt by Hispanic and Latino Americans, as they are experiencing record low unemployment. This goes along with a theory that Hispanics and Latinos have a favorable opinion of President Donald Trump.
The New York Times has made it clear they are standing behind their new hire and editorial board member Sarah Jeong, regardless of the myriad of racist tweets she has sent. They claim they reviewed her social media accounts before hiring her. Tony takes a look some of her other hateful comments on Twitter, and you can decide if you want to read the New York Times again.
