Since the end of WWII, the conservative movement has been dominated by foreign policy hawks, initially anti-communist and later neoconservative (“neocon”). But there was a completely different conservative movement that existed during the first half of the 20th century retrospectively known as “The Old Right.” Do Trump and the broader MAGA movement represent a return of this brand of conservatism?
