Two days after he was released from prison on assault charges, Raoul Moat went looking for his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend. He waited for them outside their neighbor's house, armed with a sawed-off shotgun. By the time his rampage was over, one person was dead, and two others had suffered serious injuries.
