A man was hospitalized after being shot by police in the La Presa neighborhood of Spring Valley on Thursday after a stolen-car pursuit, according to police. The City of El Cajon and the police department are being sued by Attorney General Rob Bonta, who argues the city is violating a state law prohibiting local police from giving license plate date to anyone outside California. Las Cuatro Milpas confirmed on social media that they plan to open a new location after their Barrio Logan location closed last year.
