Americans are gearing up for today's solar eclipse. While San Diego is not in the path of totality, you still need to make sure to use proper eclipse safety glasses so you don't cause major damage to your eyesight. Local lawmakers are moving forward with a plan to move Carlsbad Boulevard from Palomar Airport Road to La Costa Avenue due to rising sea levels. Small businesses in San Diego are now required to comply with the city's Styrofoam ban after their grace period ended last week.
