One Year Out to 2024 Olympics, Miramar Brush Fire, La Jolla Sea Lions Charges at Tourists
In one year from today. the 2024 Paris Olympics will take place. We have special coverage on our homepage. More than 100 acres burned in Miramar, as a result of a training exercise on the Marine Corps Air Station. A massive sea lion in La Jolla Cove charged at tourists who were getting too close. There is little to no enforcement when it comes to not touching or getting too close to sea animals. Also, some East County hiking trails will remain closed to prevent heat-related injuries.
