A little more than 2 weeks after a huge fire broke out on the end of the Oceanside pier, most of the iconic structure will reopen today. A paddle out is planned for tomorrow at Ocean Beach in honor of the surfers killed in Mexico. The USPS is reassuring customers that despite cuts to staff at the Imperial Beach Post Office, it will not be closing the location.
