Mountain Biker Dehydration Fatality, Heat Wave Prep Tips, Pacific Surfliner Resumes Service
A mountain biker died Saturday after trying to help out four hikers in Carrizo Gorge, who were experiencing dehydration and heat-illness-related symptoms. During this heat wave, first responders want you to be prepared. They have some recommendations for you on how to stay cool and what not to do. Starting today, Pacific Surfliner resumes daily operations, just in time for San Diego Comic-Con, X Games California, and the Del Mar Racetrack Opening Day.
