Edward Minot Jr., a Camp Pendleton Marine, has been sentenced to nearly 14 years in state prison after driving drunk and killing a 12 year old boy last year in Oceanside. A tougher, statewide ban on plastic shopping bags is one step closer to becoming law in California. Disneyland's Anaheim theme park has announced it will be expanding, with park officials saying they will add new attractions, more hotels and additional restaurants.
