District One Election, Border Fence Construction, Parking Concerns
The race to replace the District One County Board of Supervisors seat will likely lead to a run-off election, after no candidates got more than 50% of the vote in last night's election. Construction to close gaps in the border fence, south of San Diego, will begin immediately after the DHS secretary issued a waiver. People living in San Diego are concerned about the new parking regulations that might go into effect, because popular areas could charge more for parking and end free parking on Sundays.
