A number of fireworks displays are taking place across San Diego County today in commemoration of 4th of July, including the Big Bay Boom at 9:00 at the San Diego Bay. California Highway Patrol's maximum enforcement period is now in effect for the 4th of July holiday. Readers at USA Today have named Fiesta Island as the top dog park in the country.
