
20 Years Since 9/11 Attacks, Special Art Exhibit on USS Midway, In-Person Voting For Recall Election
Today, NBC7's Ramon Galindo starts with remembering the lives lost on this day 20 years ago-- Sept. 11, 2001. There are dozens of events throughout San Diego County, to honor both victims and survivors, from Oceanside to National City. Then, Ramon highlights an art exhibit on display at USS Midway Museum. It was created by a San Diegan and it features the names of nearly 3,000 people who died as a result of the tragedy. Ramon also mentions that it is the first day to vote in-person for the gubernatorial recall election at hundreds of locations throughout the county.
