The Pennsylvania House State Government Committee advanced two bills yesterday: one that would end the use of private money to fund county elections and one that would end Daylight Saving Time. In even more bill news, a new measure was signed into being last week that allows for restaurants, bars, and other locations to expand the outdoor area where they serve booze. A portion of I-81 will be under lane restriction tomorrow night. Lastly, preservationists are restoring the gravestones at one of Philly’s oldest Jewish cemeteries.
