After getting inspired by Penn Hills School District’s recent announcement of such a rule, one lawmaker wants to see a statewide ban on students’ cellphone use in schools. Philadelphians will soon learn whether or not their city will be one of three hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Allentown has lowered its age requirement for part-time and seasonal work. Plus, Pennsylvania’s longest-married couple celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary this week.
