State officials announced that thousands of people have been administered what were meant to be second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as first doses. Police reported that seven people were shot by a SEPTA station in Philadelphia. The Attorney General’s Office and the Department of Industry & Labor revealed that the state paid at least $2.5 million in fraudulent jobless benefits claims. And, just to end things on a positive note, two Pittsburgh women who were united by one act of kindness get the chance to speak to each other at last.
