The lawyer of a Pennsylvania man charged in the January 6 Capitol riot states that he was “viciously and savagely beaten” by a corrections officer while in prison. A woman who spat and coughed on food in a supermarket at the start of the coronavirus pandemic has been charged with trespassing at a Luzerne County church.
