Show Notes

Settle down class — Today in Gay is back is session! Were you a math gay or nah? Either way, Nay was crunching numbers on solar powered calculators, while Vico was busy spelling “BOOBS” on the calculator!

But, you know whose math isn’t mathing? Florida conservatives, who just let go of a teacher for calling a student by their preferred name. Still, there’s hope, because people showed up loud and proud for AP English teacher Melissa Calhoun, and we’re celebrating them!

Meanwhile, in Don’t Say Gay — Supreme Court Edition™️: SCOTUS heard arguments that could bring anti-LGBTQIA+ curriculum bans nationwide. Some parents are losing it over queer children’s books — but apparently NOT over titles like, Sleeping Beauty or Snow White. Suspicious! At least in (Gay) Uncle Bobby’s Wedding, everyone’s actually consenting… 👀

Also… Pope Francis has left us. Just 4 hours after a meeting with JD Vance, the Pope said, 'that’s-a-dun-datta!’ And while we’re not cheering crumbs, he was the most gay-friendly pope yet — a big deal for queer Catholics. Vico shares a touching story about how the Pope helped them come out to their aunt.

And finally — it’s your fave: Wildcard Wednesday! We’re throwing it back to our own teen chaos and reminiscing on the times we stood up for ourselves. Spoiler alert: little Nay paved the way for adult Nay to stand on business! And baby Vico will NOT hesitate to stab you! Get into it.
