The House of Representatives MUST pick a House Speaker! Congress can get NO work down without a Speaker. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is under consideration for the spot. Many think it will take multiple votes before a Speaker is chosen. Meanwhile, Congress is dead in the water. Biden has been exposed once again as being indecisive. How so? As happened in Afghanistan, Americans are screaming for help to get out of harm's way in Israel. While many countries quickly retrieved their citizens, the U.S. just flew its first flight of Americans out. With those flights came a notification that those Americans would be required to pay for their flights! However, FL. Governor DeSantis privately chartered a jet and got several hundred Americans back home safely days ago. And we await again for that Israel ground incursion into Gaza that was expected to happen late last week.
