Chaos erupted in D.C. over the weekend. A false alarm emptied the Capitol when Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) pulled a fire alarm activator in an effort to stop a vote in the House on a continuing resolution. Bowman then lied and said he didn't do it even though pictures prove otherwise! However, the House DID pass the CR, and the Senate passed it as well. Biden signed it into law late Saturday night. Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz promises to remove House Speaker McCarthy through a "motion to vacate." At the same time, members of the House are looking to expel Gaetz from Congress! As flu and COVID season begin, a poll shows that half of U.S. adults will refuse to take the new COVID vaccination. A sad story about one black young man who was beaten on Jan. 6, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol. He hurt no one, did not enter the Capitol, and was personally assaulted by police, and is facing multiple federal charges. Case after case like this is coming to light. (Are we living under Chinese or Russian rules?)
