Patch 8.2 is out and we're diving in to the new content! Learn about some of the new essences, and our thoughts for which ones might end up dominating the metagame in both Raiding and Mythic Plus - as well as our thoughts about the process of actually acquiring them. This week we have our first ever guest on the show, accomplished Brewmaster, Social Manager for , and author of the Player Spotlight series on RaiderIO, VitaminP! She talks with us about the social side of high-end World of Warcraft, and we discuss the RaiderIO score system. We also briefly cover some new information about the upcoming Beguiling seasonal affix - it's still largely unknown how it will play out, but in a recent interview we got a glimpse into the developers' minds on the affix and wanted to share our thoughts on that!

This week Tettles and Dratnos cover how to play Ranged DPS in raid, as both have just finished progressing Mythic Uu'nat as casters and are ready to share their wisdom with you! We also cover the new Essence system that's coming with Patch 8.2 starting with the basics of how it works and moving to a discussion of specific powerful and/or controversial essences based on what we know so far.

Our first show begins with a discussion of Class Balance at the MDI. What factors cause such few classes to be played at the highest level of Mythic Dungeon competition? Why is it these specific classes that made the cut? We then move to discussing Affixes in Mythic Plus - are they balanced? Should they be? How does Reaping compare to the other Affixes? Should Affixes be removed from the game entirely? Finally, we cover the recent nerfs to the hardest Mythic Raid encounters currently in the game: Lady Jaina Proudmoore, The Restless Cabal, and Uu'nat, the Harbinger. Were these nerfs warranted? Were they timely? Is there a fundamental problem with the way that boss mechanics affect melee versus ranged players?
