An author known for writing deeply frightening books, Stephen King, said, “The scariest moment is always just before you start.” He was talking about writing a book and could have been talking about anything.
Beginning something new is always filled with at least a little bit of dread or trepidation or even fear. That is normal, and if it was felt and acknowledged by the king of fearful fiction himself, then you know it’s ok for you to feel it and move through it, too.
