Show Notes
I was reminded recently of the inspiring story of Corrie Ten Boom and her sister, Betsie, who were kept in Cellblock 28 in a Nazi concentration camp in 1944 and found a way to hold “illegal” worship services there. While their circumstances were unimaginable they thanked God, and what Corrie learned upon her release will shock you.
Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Highlights:
(04:27) - The story that changed how I see gratitude in hard times
(05:50) - Your struggle still matters, even if someone else has it “worse”
(08:01) - The surprising reason the guards stayed away
(10:00) - The detail that made the whole story hit even harder
(13:34) - It’s biblical!
(15:00) - A reminder to thank God, even for the hard things
