Why doesn’t God just take his kids out of this broken world? Answer: Because God wants more people to believe and be saved. This is how Jesus closed his epic prayer in John chapter 17, a fact that reminds every Christian of the incredible calling we have to share our Savior with the world.

Jesus never promised a warm and fuzzy Christian life. Rather, he was honest about hatred, persecution, and even death. Yet Christian persecution is proof of our connection to Christ. Many kids get disconnected from church because they or their parents get hurt by someone at church. The pastor. The church council. A fellow member. Without the right reaction, these sins/hurts can uproot entire families for generations to come. This message is meant to prepare people for the next time church hurts. What do you do?
