Join me as preview Jeffco Viking Softball for 2026. My guest is Head Coach Chris Starkey, he’ll preview this years team, talk recruiting field improvements and fundraising. Pitching depth and the incoming freshman class as well as the sophomore returners will also be discussed. I will also have interviews with 5 of the freshman players and you’ll het a look at this talented and motivated group.

We’ll give you a look at some of the subjects and ideas coming your way this year. Interviews, Lists, Rankings, a rumor about a video podcast will be addressed and i’ll tell you about the one person who had the biggest impact on the University. Whats hidden within that impact? My guest is Ron Lykins, multi- Olympic gold medal wheelchair basketball coach and head coach of the Mizzou wheelchair basketball team team. You’ll find out how Ron got his start in wheelchair hoops and was selected to lead the Olympic wheelchair teams. Also how he made his way to the head coach of the Mizzou wheelchair teams and molded them into a powerhouse program. We’ll give you there remaining home schedule and tell you where they play.

Today we talk with Jerome Carnigal Mizzou Football Athletic Trainer intern. He shares with us an inside look into treatment of injuries and the care of the Tigers during fall camp and as the season progresses. We’ll learn techniques of medical care from triage to follow with physicians.

Jeffco Viking catcher Alexia Chevrier from Quebec Canada sits down with me to get you acquainted with this softball player from north of the border. We’ll delve into her youth, her participation on the Canadian National team as well as her adaptation to American cuisine.
