Dr. Mark Bergel is the founder, President and CEO of A Wider Circle, a nonprofit organization in Silver Spring, MD working to end poverty. After founding A Wider Circle in 2001, Dr. Bergel has emerged as a leader in the movement to end poverty and is a nationally acclaimed speaker in the fields of poverty, health, and social connection.
A Wider Circle's mission is to end poverty through on-the-ground programs and services, as well as through the development of large-scale solutions to its root causes.
