Russell Cobb, author of The Great Oklahoma Swindle, joins the show to talk about his OU fandom as well as his book. Cobb is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma and currently lives in Alberta, Canada where he teaches at the University of Alberta.
Cobb's recent book, The Great Oklahoma Swindle, is currently a best seller in the state of Oklahoma for non-fiction. The books digs into long forgotten, or sometimes suppressed stories of events and different peoples in Oklahoma's history.
Cobb is also a lifelong OU football fan. We talk about everything from Lloyd Carr, Barry Switzer, the 2021 season and even Jeff Hostetler breaking Sooner fans' hearts.
