The IRS announces a moratorium on reviewing any ERTC claims received after Sept. 13, 2023, until the new year, although businesses can continue to file. Basically, expect delays in the process. Some good news: the rate of entrepreneurship is rising in the U.S., led by women and people of color, according to study by Babson College that shows 19% of adults is starting a business or has done so. Gene has some suggestions about certain approaches to this, and he comments on how to offset the rising health care costs for employers providing plans for employees. Listen to the podcast.
