Show Notes

On this episode of the Three-Inning Save podcast, the Dodgers won the National League West again and Shohei Ohtani is in the MLB postseason for the first time.

The Dodgers beat the Padres two out of three times to clinch the division at Dodger Stadium, giving them three NL West titles in a row and 11 in the last 12 years. By the time the season ended, the Dodgers had the best record in MLB and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Ohtani won NL player of the week in each of the final two weeks of the regular season and was named NL player of the month for September, and finished his likely MVP season with 54 home runs and 59 stolen bases.
