Show Notes

On this episode of the Three-Inning Save podcast, the Dodgers salvaged a victory Sunday over the Padres to escape from San Diego in a first-place tie atop the National League West.

Two solo home runs by rookie Alex Freeland provided the only scoring for the Dodgers in losses on Friday and Saturday, and it was more of the same on Sunday for most of the game. But Freddie Freeman homered twice, Dalton Rushing hit a go-ahead three-run home run, and Shohei Ohtani homered as well.

Plus more on the returns of Tanner Scott and Kirby Yates from the injured list, and pending returns of Kiké Hernández, Michael Kopech, and Hyeseong Kim, and the roster maneuvering expected over the next few days.
