After clarifying among the three who the real hillbilly is (it’s the one who has goats), the guys get to the true subject at hand. How does a congregation go about evangelism in the age of the internet?
We hear how the Lord used digital mean in the life of the younger two guys (and establish that the hillbilly is also old as he predates the internet). The 3GTers then share how their congregations use apps, web pages, and social media for outreach. They then weigh the pros and cons of doing evangelism through digital means. Finally, they discuss how the very nature of the gospel itself should discourage us away from a latent Gnosticism that relies solely on digital resources and urges us toward “bodily” presence in witnessing to the lost.
