When we were kids, there was a common phrase that would fly around anytime a smart kid was around: "They're a Doogie Howser." Well, this week we tackle the origin of that phrase, Doogie Howser, MD! This show came out in 1989 thanks to test audiences who asked for it. The network had no desire to pursue a show about a child doctor, but they couldn't turn down a populace that wanted it. So here we are, over 30 years later talking about the first episode of this show.
