Show Notes
Last week, the Federal Reserve raised interest rates by a quarter point citing a "strong" economy, its eighth increase since 2015. Fed Chair Jay Powell hinted at one more rate increase this year and at least three more in 2019. Host Dan Loney talks with Peter Conti-Brown, Assistant Professor of Legal Studies and Business Ethics at the Wharton School, and Sebastian Mallaby, Senior Fellow for International Economics at the Council on Foreign Relations and Author of the book The Man Who Knew: The Life and Times of Alan Greenspan, to discuss the politics around the move and what this means for the economy on Knowledge@Wharton.
