Throughout our discussion, we chatted about familial troubles, the story of how my estranged uncle told me that I was adopted, and the effects that my adoption has had on our entire family. As we dive deeper into each topic, I was able to shed light on my journey in finding my birth family and touch on how similar we are even though we grew up in different households.
