Show Notes

Here is a smooth classical song from the depth of my vocal range. Having the ability to modify the frequency of my vocal chords' vibrations is the result of not having an Adam's apple. I do not have the bone structure of most men that limits the frequency modulation of vibration in the muscular tissues of the vocal chords. I can sing at different octaves by adjusting the size of the opening in the air passage between the muscular tissues that create the vibrations that transfer into the air as it passes through the opening. Imagine letting air out of a balloon while stretching the opening of the balloon to make the noise higher or lower. The length of the stretch decreases the pitch. With controlled air pressure by managing air flow to be steady as I exhale, I can sing at a particular pitch with consistency. Isn't science wonderful?
