Today we will speak with Dr. Yara Asi. Yara M. Asi is a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Central Florida, where she teaches in the Department of Health Management and Informatics. She is a Fulbright Scholar to the West Bank. Her research focuses on global health and development in fragile and conflict-affected populations. She has written extensively on the impact of COVID-19 on Palestinians and her most recent op-ed on Palestinians and the coronavirus vaccine appeared in the Washington Post.
