This album has been a passion project since 2018 when I set out to assemble a collection of remixes and re-imaginations of the song that started it all, Chemical Imbalance, by some of favorite producers and artist. In 1987 I developed one of the most important friendships of my lifetime. Al Jourgensen and I became fast friends when Ministry played the Cave Club in Austin, Tx where I had been establishing an audience devoted to industrial music and the sound of Wax Trax records. It wasn't long after that Jourgensen would ask me to get a band to open for Ministry's Land of Rape and Honey tour. Hence Skatenigs were born and so was Chemical Imbalance. Al would produce the first iteration for the Chicago based label. During the recording we met Lorri Jackson who would pen and perform the now famous prologue to the song credits released June 9, 2023 This album is dedicated to the memory of my son, Cash Owen 1995 - 2017 Artists and producers involved in this project are: This is Entertainment- Chris Chambers, Chris Ahrens and Phil Owen Honor Among Thieves- Dan Milligan Funky Junkie- Bobby Youngblood Gamage Swamp Baby- Ron Keys aka DJ SWAMP Night at the MetaDisko- Jim Marcus One Last Chant- Bradley Bills Making Life Livable- Erie Loch Psalm 68 and I owe you 1- Howie Beno CAPZEYEZ Reprise- Chris Chambers, Chris Ahrens, Phil Owen featuring Dave Prewitt Produced by Phil Owen Mastered by Chris Ahrens Artwork image- Frank Kozik Artwork layout and design- Richard Luckett
