Jon talks with Dilip Rao, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Sharebite, about how he gets his employees back to work safely and the role he plays in it.
Dilip Rao is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Sharebite, a mission-driven food ordering platform built exclusively for companies.
Dilip began his career at Goldman Sachs and joined Credit Suisse during the downturn of 2008, where he specialized in advising and financing companies across various industries. His deal experience covers the full spectrum across M&A, Leveraged Finance (LBO's), Debt Underwriting, and Capital Raising (Debt & Equity), as well as High Yield and Distressed Debt.
During his time at both firms, Dilip was actively involved with culture-focused initiatives and helped spearhead programs at Credit Suisse aimed at improving employee engagement and enhancing the firm's corporate social responsibility footprint. Dilip studied Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the University at Buffalo and St. Johns University and also has an MBA from Columbia Business School. He resides in New York City with his wife and two kids and cares deeply about causes dedicated to improving education and solving one of the root causes of inequality, childhood hunger.
