I'm not a fan, but maybe it works if you're trying to min/max! If you have time for it!

CPI came in way better than expected! But Powell has said the fed needs to see pain in the labor and housing market. Though those are not the only data points, they are important ones. Can people/traders being too bullish about inflation actually cause the FED to do a "scare" hike to keep things going on track? Hmm.

However, you have a choice.You know the stock market usually* goes upYou know put credit spreads win when the market is flat or upYou understand bearish trades don't win as often as bullish tradesThen suddenly you can have an advantage if you trade long enough. You don't ALWAYS have to trade, especially volatile times like right now. You can afford to wait for an uptrend and then open a trade there where you have a higher chance of success.
