After a health insurance executive is gunned down on the sidewalk by a vigilante, Det. Vincent Riley chases the suspect all over Manhattan. Lt. ADA Samantha Maroun says Ethan Weller targeted OptiShield's CEO because the company denied his late mother's claim for an experimental drug. DA Nicholas Baxter worries the jury will not convict a defendant who's gained folk hero status for killing a man who represents the worst kind of corporate greed. EADA Nolan Price thinks it's a slam dunk murder conviction, but an activist judge seems eager to see Weller go free.
