Starting Christian College, Leaving in Spiritual Deconstruction?

How can a Christian go to a Christian college or seminary... and end up actually leaving the faith? There is a sort of an elephant in the room when Christians go to look into seminaries: there are a lot of identity politics and cultural ideologies that are unbiblical.
