Dr. Vincent Lloyd is Associate Professor of Theology and Religious Studies and the Director for the Center for Political Theology at Villanova University. Dr. Lloyd has a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from UC Berkley. He’s the author of many scholarly books including Black Natural Law (Oxford University Press, 2016), Religion of the Field Negro (Fordham University Press, 2017), Break Every Yoke (Oxford University Press, 2019), and the recently released Black Dignity: The Struggle Against Domination (Yale University Press, 2022).
