In Episode 156 of Theology In Particular I'm joined by Dr. Ryan Davidson to discuss the pastoral care offered to families in the first two centuries of the church. The early church developed largely in the Greco-Roman context. Dr. Davidson helps us understand how the family was structured in that culture and the challenges faced by pastors and Christians to build godly families within it based upon the teaching of Holy Scripture.
