Show Notes
In Episode 105 of Theology In Particular, Dr. Jason Montgomery returns to continue our series on the Patristic Era. In episode 97, Dr. Montgomery provided us with an introduction to this important era in church history. In this episode, he draws attention to the impulse of the early church to formulate creeds and explains where this impulse comes from. The listener should know that Dr. Montgomery and I have decided to use a book entitled, The Story of Creeds and Confessions: Tracing the Development of the Christian Faith, as a kind of outline for this series.
