Julia lives with her husband and children in central North Carolina. She has a master’s degree in maternal and child health from Tulane University and works full-time as a writer and postpartum support specialist. Julia is passionate about helping parents understand that their childrens’ wellbeing begins by focusing on their own.
Her work has appeared with the New York Times, the Washington Post, TIME, National Geographic, Glamour, Vox, Parents, and many other outlets.
