Gilbert Laporte is Professor Emeritus at the Department of Decision Sciences at HEC Montréal. He holds the Canada Research Chair in Distribution Management and is a member of the Group for Research on Decision Analysis and the Interuniversity Research Centre on Enterprise Networks, Logistics, and Transportation. He has been awarded the Order of Canada and the Innis-Gérin Medal.
