Our guest today is Dan Thawley, an Australian artistic director, editor and journalist based in Paris. With a rich 15-year career in Europe, Dan has worked extensively in the creative industries, contributing to the growth of influential publications and cultivating a deep understanding of the creative process of designers and artists. His journey, which began with a leap from Sydney to London before Antwerp and eventually Paris, has been marked by his 14-year tenure as Editor in Chief of the Belgian cultural title, ‘A Magazine Curated By’, guest-edited every issue by a prominent fashion designer. 

In this episode, Dan discusses his multifaceted role in the creative industries. He shares insights into his latest venture, Matter and Shape, a new design salon set to take place in Paris during Women's Fashion Week from March 1 - 4 2024 in the Jardin des Tuileries. 

This innovative event aims to blur the lines between commerce and creativity, showcasing a curated mix of design, art, and fashion. Dan's vision is to create a platform where designers, buyers, and enthusiasts can connect, collaborate, and inspire each other.
