The guys open The Show in review of the latest from the weekend as we welcome JB back into the captain's chair. They keep it light in order to give way to Tony Annan for his reaction to the big news of the English Premier League match between Manchester United and Liverpool F.C. in early August at Williams-Brice Stadium. Tony gives us some perspective on the magnitude of what is going on before they steer a bit into his squad with John Whittle, our resident soccer expert. They get into the squad and get the opinion of Coach Annan on some things that may not be thought about regarding the soccer program in recruiting, the portal, and NIL in his sport. After Coach Annan has to get back to work, they dive into some basketball with Whittle then on to Baseball. Mike joins in the second hour for Power Hours this week, and they talk everything from basketball, and the remaining schedule for the teams at the top of the league, and the latest in the CFB playoff rumors. Mike ran into the HBC, Steve Spurrier, last night, and of course there's a fun story behind it. They wrap with more general talk about the athletic programs.
