It's Nurses Week and you know what that means: cold pizza, heroes work here signs and tacky gifts. How about giving nurses what they REALLY need: safe staffing ratios, fair pay, freedom from workplace violence, mental health support and RESPECT. And that means leaders LEADING.
To all the nurses: I get it, I hear you and I support you. It turns out we're all on a journey to find our path, our true calling. Whether that means leaving your current role, lobbying for change or introspecting to reframe how you look at the world, the time is now. It's YOUR journey, make it happen.
