Show Notes

This episode was not what I thought it might be and Ollie was not what I imagined going in. And yes, by now I should be better than assuming or expecting. My bad. I don’t want to say too much but his story (in and out of the military) is fascinating, inspiring and at times, confronting. I genuinely loved talking with him. Here’s a snapshot of his bio: Ollie’s military career began at the age of 18 when he joined the Royal Marine Commando’s and toured operationally in Northern Ireland & Operation Desert Storm in Iraq. After five years of service with Commando’s and upon completion of a gruelling six-month selection process, Ollie was one of five candidates to pass selection for SAS, from an initial 250. During his service, he undertook a number of high-profile missions in a variety of locations both on land and sea, with his missions including hostage rescue, counter narcotics, counter terrorism, homeland security, counter insurgency operations and humanitarian efforts. Ollie is a cornerstone of the team that brought the Special Forces into the public eye with the Channel Four series SAS: Who Dares Wins and he is CEO of BREAK-POINT, an organisation for both public and corporate that focuses on changing people’s limiting beliefs and performance. Enjoy.
